Holiday Home

I’m doing a phone dump of the last couple weeks of cell pics. Our home (and family) is overflowing with the holiday spirit.

Some is pretty and some looks like an episode of hoarders. Depends on the room you enter or even what time of day you stop by the zoo.

We’ve been blessed by an unknown family with gifts left at our door every evening. The kids are sooo excited and we are SO grateful-!!

The recitals abound, with both kyler and Brooklyns orchestra concerts being the same evening. One at 6 pm. One at 7 pm. And though we were running and “those parents” who come rushing in the back doors -late- we made it.

On Friday, I took Kayli to her much-anticipated orthodontist appt where she got her braces off!

We celebrated with lunch at the mall and playing hooky from a couple classes.

Kayli’s had a lot of local performances, with four performances within this week. She loves it and I’m grateful for that. Her voice has grown tremendously as well as her stage presence.

I just finished helping Braydens classroom polar express party. They get to wear pajamas, watch polar express and have hot cocoa/holiday treats. They love it!

Tomo is Kyler’s party and I’m prepping their cute ornaments, which were as “pre-made” as I could find, ha!!  I’ll cut every corner I can this season to bring some extra time

This will be crunch time for many of us. I’m striving to be proactive in not letting my soul get into the “hustle mode” as much as possible. The cards are filling up the wall,

Lots more family parties are inking our calendar, the kids are feeling the sugar buzz & lost sleep. I’m breathing deeply- and working hardest at lowering my expectations of myself, ha!  I love to see Christmas through our children’s eyes and that redirects my thoughts every time this season.
